Title: Manager Channel Development

Job summary :
- Lead channel development strategy to drive total DKSH sales for LKA.
- Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key retailers to align on growth targets and promotional activities.
- Ensure execution of DKSH fairs, in-store activations, and trade campaigns.
- Improve customer order fulfilment and service levels.
- Support faster sales penetration for new suppliers and strengthen relationships with existing ones.
- Act as a key contact for resolving disputes and operational challenges with key customers.
- Conduct regular Business Review with retailers to track progress, address challenges, and ensure delivery of set targets through scorecard monitoring.
General Responsibilities :
• Develop channel-specific strategies to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotional effectiveness.
• Lead JBP planning and execution with retailers, ensuring alignment with supplier goals.
• Monitor and improve 5P execution across retail touchpoints.
• Conduct regular Business Reviews and lead issue resolution with internal teams and customers.
• Collaborate with CAM, Trade Marketing, Client Management, and Supply Chain teams for seamless execution.
• Drive execution of team/function goals related to channel development and customer service improvement.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver strategic outcomes.
• Promote continuous learning and development in customer development and DKSH behaviors.
• Act as a role model for proactive problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking.
• ROI on trade promotions, DKSH fairs, and in-store execution. Execution scorecards for JBP and 5P metrics
Functional skills and knowledge :
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in a similar role
- Minimum two to three years’ experience in a managerial capacity
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
- Proven customer development/account management experience in fast moving consumer goods
- Demonstrate a general understanding in all aspects of supplier and customer relationship management including supply chain, field marketing and branding
- Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to multitask and communicate clearly and concisely.
- Agile in implementing fast-paced online environment onto DKSH.
- Demonstrate ability to work and collaborate in a team setting.
- Proactive, responsible, organized and able to work independently.
- Good level of computer literacy
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or related fields
