Job Summary
The Key Account Manager drives medical sales growth across Oncology, Cardiovascular, and Hematology product portfolios, playing a pivotal role in expanding DKSH's presence within key healthcare accounts. This role creates meaningful impact by building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and delivering specialized medical solutions that make a difference.
General Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of sales targets across assigned territories by developing and executing experience-informed medical sales action plans for Oncology, Cardiovascular, and Hematology product portfolios
- Engage existing and prospective customers through regular calls and visits to generate orders, demonstrations, and quotation opportunities, while delivering compelling product presentations that highlight key features and customer benefits
- Prepare competitive quotations, tender prices, delivery terms, and commercial terms in alignment with company policies, and ensure prompt and professional responses to customer orders, queries, and complaints
- Monitor and report on competitor activities, track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales plans, and maintain accurate customer and sales data within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen sales processes and elevate customer satisfaction, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery and long-term key account relationship development
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar roleDemonstrated experience in Oncology, Cardiovascular, Hematology, or Critical Care therapeutic areas
- Working knowledge of the industry, market, competitors, customers, and products, with demonstrated selling skills
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements for products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, and warrantiesWillingness to travel outstation and manage coverage across multiple areas
- Strong communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
Education
Degree or professional qualification in a Science- or Medical-related discipline
