Job Summary
To manage specific customer accounts in line with DKSH company standard, policy performance and strategy.
General Responsibilities
- Develop and implement processes and strategies (local go-to-market strategies, sales strategies and customer strategies) for assigned customers to ensure achievement of sales objectives.
- Manage sales projection (sell-in and sell-out), stocks forecast and stocks holding. Evaluate trends and devise business output to support strategic business growth and profitability.
- Customer centric and business mind orientated, understand customer’s need and develop win-win business solution to drive sustainable business growth and profitability.
- Build and strengthen relationships with customers and endeavor to be customers’ preferred business partner in achieving sustainable business growth and profitability.
- Manage and monitor assigned customer A&P trade fund/Contract based investment according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable.
- Monitor self and team key performance indicators achievement. Conduct regular reviews to provide feedback on achievements, performance gaps and requirements for improvement
- Manage business discussion / negotiations, including trading terms, trade conditions, DA rate etc. to facilitate effective sales agreements to achieve sustainable business growth and profitability.
- Provide market insights and category/product trend with actionable recommendations for strategic business optimization for assigned customers.
- Provide trade activation post-evaluation analysis for review of improvement and action plan for out of plan (if any).
- Work collaboratively cross functionally with marketing, trade marketing, supply chain, customer care, client management etc. to ensure effective communication and implementation.
- Understand market environment (financial climate/trends/competitors)
- Conduct quarterly business review and business progress update for assigned customers.
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects/tasks assigned by Manager.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
• Minimum 1 year working experience in a similar position under fast-paced environment.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Exhibit agility, fast learner, with basic of value-based selling and negotiation skill.
• Ability to build rapport with key clients with proven experiences in key account management.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in any field of business or science
