Job Summary
Support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) practices to ensure alignment with global DKSH safety policies and applicable local/international regulations. Support environmental sustainability initiatives including monitoring and consolidation of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data.
Job Responsibilities
• Support Country HSE Manager in managing day-to-day operating expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and sustainability practices in line with global DKSH safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Track and monitor incidents, accidents, and near misses; assist in investigation and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Support preparation and consolidation of HSE performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs for central/management reporting.
• Assist the HSE Manager in tracking strategic HSE initiatives and supporting central-level HSE planning and performance monitoring.
• Monitor waste management and waste minimization initiatives to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
• Support environmental monitoring activities including energy, water, waste, and emissions tracking.
• Collect, monitor, and consolidate environmental sustainability data including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
• Maintain basic greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting records and support emissions reporting in accordance with recognized standards (e.g. GHG Protocol).
• Assist in preparing HSE and sustainability performance reports for internal and external reporting.
• Coordinate and conduct HSE-related training and awareness programs to ensure consistent implementation.
• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with applicable safety, health, and environmental laws.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations) to support HSE and sustainability initiatives.
• Provide support in the implementation of HSE and sustainability-related projects and continuous improvement programs.
Job Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Science, Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Chemistry, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant certification in HSE or environmental/sustainability management is an advantage.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in HSE, environmental management, or sustainability-related roles.
• Working knowledge of local safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Basic understanding of GHG accounting principles and Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), especially for data tracking and reporting.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in local language and English
