Job Summary

Support the execution of clients' business plans and trade marketing strategies for product groups to achieve overall sales targets. Support daily operation tasks internally (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) and externally (Client). Collaborating with sales team, collecting feedback / information from branches on time, as well as generating standard reports etc. 

General Responsibilities

  • Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
  • Execute and monitor promotion plans to achieve marketing goals 
  • Gather market and customer feedback on the current product range and new product introductions. 
  • Communicate new developments regarding the clients' or competitors' products to the sales team. 
  • Coordinate and communicate all planned activities to all operational departments and Business Units. 
  • Liaise with client’s marketing team to coordinate promotional material deliveries. 
  • Liaise and communicate with client’s marketing team to ensure all marketing activities been update accordingly to DKSH team. 
  • Coordination of sample/foc withdrawal from warehouse to pre-planned destination. 
  • Follow up on invoices, goods receiving and payment. 
  • Monitoring on stock balance, near expiry stocks clearance, high stock holding. 
  • Proactively creates and maintains effective workflow and communications to accomplish the work of the product team which includes the handling of a variety of projects and tasks simultaneously. 
  • Generation of monthly reports and progress reports on sales, promotion, distribution for monitoring & tracking:
    i.    Daily sales tracking report
    ii.    Weekly stock balance report
    iii.    Monthly Sales Analysis Report 
    iv.    A&P tracking on daily basis, Exceedra claims matching
    v.    Monthly Business Review deck preparation
    vi.    Ac hoc tracking (distribution, status of execution)
  • Working closely with sales team on PPF for client’s approval (Exceedra process flow).
  • Monitor, check supporting documents and match complete claim submission in Exceedra on daily basis.
  • Organizes and schedules meetings, including contacting participants, booking meeting rooms when required.
  • Conduct monthly write off in CGL & follow up when necessary
  • Conduct Business Review with client when required.
  • Coordinate with different personnel from different department to meet the requirements of whole business operation.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • 1-3 years of experience in trade marketing or marketing related roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to submit their applications.
  • Track and compile sales and promotion performance data Basic understanding of trade marketing activities such as in-store promotions and product displays.
  • Ability to support promotion planning and execution with sales and retail partners. 
  • Assist in coordinating POS materials and promotional collaterals. 
  • Support communication with internal sales teams, supply chain, finance and other related department.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for basic reporting and data tracking. 
  • Able to prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. 
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word for documentation and reports. 
  • Comfortable using Outlook and Teams for daily communication and coordination

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
