About The Role
As Associate Director, Human Resources Business Partnering, you will lead the translation of HR strategy into meaningful business outcomes across DKSH Malaysia, serving as a trusted partner to business leaders in driving organizational effectiveness and workforce capability. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, enabling the business to achieve its growth ambitions through a high-impact people agenda.
What you will deliver
- Lead the delivery of end-to-end HR business partnering priorities across business operations, ensuring alignment with business goals, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness
- Translate management decisions into actionable short- and long-term HR initiatives that are aligned with the company's strategic direction
- Develop and review talent management strategies for critical leadership positions, building talent readiness and succession plans that ensure continuity and organizational resilience
- Drive organizational design initiatives that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across business functions
- Steer the performance management agenda with business leaders, ensuring robust differentiation, capability development, and timely interventions that raise overall organizational performance
- Partner with the rewards function to develop market-driven compensation recommendations that strengthen employee performance, engagement, and retention
- Implement company-wide learning and development strategies that address capability gaps and support meaningful career growth
- Oversee the deployment of HR service delivery, systems, and digital tools to streamline processes and improve scalability across functions
- Deliver regular HR metrics and benchmark reports that provide validated insights to support sound business decision-making
- Champion employee engagement initiatives that drive performance, strengthen retention, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment
- Lead people-related change initiatives, partnering with business leaders to drive adoption, organizational readiness, and sustainable outcomes
- Manage HR departmental operating targets and costs to ensure efficient and accountable use of resources
- Lead, develop, and manage the HR Business Partnering team to consistently deliver against functional goals and targets
- Build team capability in HR Business Partnering competencies and DKSH behaviors, championing continuous learning as a role model
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required
What you bring
- Degree in Human Resources, Organization Development or Behavior, Organizational Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of solid HR business partnering experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Minimum four years of experience in a managerial capacity
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (MS Office) applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes
- Strong understanding of business dynamics, growth levers, change drivers, and critical success factors
- Ability to analyze complex data, interpret business implications, and make well-reasoned recommendations to senior management
- Broad experience across both strategic and tactical HR core functions
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Comfortable leading through ambiguity and uncertainty, with the ability to manage organizationally complex, globally and culturally diverse environments
