About The Role

Responsible to build and develop yearly plans with assigned customers to effectively grow long-term business with high level of customer engagement. Accountable for the delivery of top & bottom-line sales via aligned strategies and processes with internal functions.

Managing operating departmental budgets and costs. Accountable for net sales/EBIT/headcount responsibility (where applicable). Return on investment on advertising and promotion (promotional effectiveness).

What You Will Deliver

  • Oversee and manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources
  • Formulate holistic key account processes and strategies for modern trade channels (global accounts and local accounts) to ensure achievement of overall objectives
  • Allocate customer accounts to teams. Establish budgets, key performance indicators and tracking mechanisms to support the achievement of team key performance indicators
  • Anticipate future direction and needs of customers in order to proactively recommend business solutions to meet customers' long term business needs
  • Drive annual negotiations with key customers, including trading terms and conditions, to facilitate sales agreements and achieve targeted margins
  • Oversee the planning and execution of 5P tactics and demand-marketing initiatives to maximize potential return on total customer investments
  •  Drive post-evaluation of key promotions and communicate results to the commercial teams.
  • Leverage on promotional evaluations to refine customer tactics Ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of performance data/reports to facilitate strategic decisions
  • Oversee initiatives to optimize business processes and improve services by utilizing new techniques, tools and information systems Build long-term strategic relationships with key customers.
  • Facilitate frequent top-to-top contact between customers and DKSH senior management to ensure strategic alignment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (e.g. in Trade Marketing, Field Marketing and Supply Chain Management) to ensure alignment of strategies and process
  • Set direction and cascade team/function goals to ensure goals are well-defined and clearly communicated
  • Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Customer Account Management and DKSH behavior to achieve team/function goals

What You Bring

  • Key Account Management (sales) background with experience in managing local and/or international key accounts and/or convenience channel
  • Degree in Business / Marketing, or related fields
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
  • Demonstrate advanced selling skills and proven key account management experience in fast moving consumer goods
  • Demonstrate general understanding in all aspects of supplier and customer relationship management including supply chain, field marketing and branding
  • Demonstrate advanced negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
