Title: Assistant Manager Capabilities Development

He or she will need to develop and implement the training and development framework in line with Group HR's training and development framework; responsible for the overall delivery, implementation of development strategies and monitoring its effectiveness throughout.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver and facilitate the training modules for DKSH Malaysia and DKSH Singapore
- Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
- Develop, manage and monitor training and development budget/costs to optimize usage of budget against development strategies including the utilization of HRDF funds (MY only)
- Collaborate with HRBPs to develop and implement a training and development framework and approach, ensuring that it stays relevant to the organization's needs
- Highlight critical development needs and advice on specific departmental development solutions. Formulate short- and long- term company-wide training and development strategies to cater for development needs
- Introduce and implement Fantree Academy training catalogues and programs in line with the global framework and requirements
- Manage and oversee the implementation of development strategies, communication plans, training programs, etc., in catering to country- wide development needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the overall implementation of development strategies, communication plans, training modules, trainers, etc., to measure execution effectiveness. Recommend and implement key improvement areas
- Monitor and evaluate employee post-training effectiveness (e.g. competency gaps closed, application of skills, etc.) to measure country-wide training effectiveness and outcomes
- Lead and manage training and development projects to enhance country-wide employee learning platforms (e.g. knowledge management databases, e-learning, informal training sessions, etc.)
- Evaluate and select vendors/trainers (internal and external) to ensure effective and quality execution of training initiatives/programsLead the interactions with internal stakeholders on development strategies, communication plans, customized development plans and training platforms, etc., to ensure stakeholder needs are met
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with external vendors/trainers as part of maintaining sustainability of services provided
- Support other capabilities related annual projects (e.g. Local/Global Fantree Awards, Engagement Surveys, etc) when required
Job Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences or related fields
- Minimum five years’ experience in exact similar role
- Demonstrate capability as a trainer – conduct, facilitate, develop and manage
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
- Demonstrate sound application of adult learning theories and best practices
- Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Flexible and adaptable to work improvements
- Self-directed, motivated and able to work independently
- Must be willing to be based in DKSH Malaysia, The Ascent Petaling Jaya
- Open to occasionally travel to DKSH Singapore
