Job Summary
- To plan, organize and implement activities in line with Department marketing objectives, integrating directions from own brands and local requirements, through the various marketing functions of advertising & promotions, product management and trade marketing.

- To support the management of the brands P&L and ensure preset objectives are met through execution of sound marketing strategies & plans.
- Support / Implement approved Marketing budget and allocate toward optimizing utilization of funds in raising brand awareness and promoting sell-through.
- To resourcefully gather general market trend, market share and competitive information as guidance in gauging effectiveness of marketing activities
- To ensure optimum balance between various marketing activities:
- Brand building exercises (Conference, roadshow, CME, RTD and product launches, etc.)
- Formulate & monitor the implementation of A&P strategies and its effectiveness in meeting objectives
- To work with agency to ensure reasonable rates paid for POSM.
General Responsibilities
- To play a strategic role in ensuring range and product selection meets trends and requirements.
- To monitor the brand’s proactive approach towards patient preferences at the local level.
- To ensure inventory levels are managed within contractual agreements.
- To conduct financial feasibility study of promotion activities to ensure in line with profit objectives.
- To lead in new product launches. This shall encompass developing the product launch plan, setting timetable, determining retail price level (benchmarked to product strategy, margin strategy, competitor and market tolerance level), roll-out timing, sample preparation (where applicable), POSM support requirements, display standards etc, to be executed by the sales and finance teams.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Proven track record with three to five years’ experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including market dynamics, regulations, and product categories.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks within assigned territories, including product handling, storage, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey product information and marketing messages.
- Ability to analyze market data, interpret clinical trial results, and assess product performance.
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
Education
- Degree or professional qualification in Business, Marketing, Science or Medical-related field.
