Title:  Assistant Inventory Management

About the Role

The Assistant, Inventory Management supports DKSH's sourcing and supply chain operations within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Retailing environment, contributing to efficient procurement, supplier management, and inventory control. This role plays a key part in enabling smooth product launches and supply continuity across the Sourcing & Inventory Management function.

What You Will Deliver

• Support end-to-end sourcing activities including Request for Quotation (RFQ) preparation, quotation analysis, and supplier negotiation to secure optimal commercial outcomes
• Coordinate purchase orders and support supplier management to ensure timely and accurate supply of goods
• Assist in the coordination of New Product Development (NPD) and Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) launches, ensuring smooth execution from sourcing through to availability
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory management activities to uphold stock accuracy and availability
• Monitor and update data in SAP and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support operational visibility and reporting
• Prepare and maintain sourcing and procurement documentation in accordance with company procedures
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability in managing assigned tasks independently, escalating issues appropriately when required
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required
  
  
  
  What You Bring

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Business Management, or a relevant discipline
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1 to 2 years of experience in sourcing, inventory management, supply chain, or a related function is an added advantage
• Experience in a food, FMCG, retailing, or manufacturing environment is preferred
• Knowledge of sourcing and inventory management processes including RFQ, quotation analysis, vendor management, and purchase order coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP or equivalent ERP systems
• Strong commercial sense with good negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to follow through on commitments
• Proactive, adaptable, and resilient with the ability to manage changing priorities and deliver effectively under pressure
• Collaborative mindset with sound judgement and a genuine willingness to learn
