Title: Regional Partnership Lead
Novena Square, SG
About the Role
The Regional Partnership Lead is accountable for strengthening and growing DKSH's strategic partnerships with assigned pharmaceutical and healthcare clients across Asia Pacific (APAC), delivering sustainable revenue, profitability, and long-term partnership value. In this role, you will serve as the critical regional bridge between client leadership, DKSH country teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, translating partnership strategy into measurable commercial outcomes.
What You Will Deliver
- Own the regional relationship and account strategy for assigned clients, serving as the primary point of contact for client leadership, DKSH country teams, and regional functions to ensure alignment on partnership priorities and execution.
- Develop and maintain joint value-creation roadmaps and annual business plans across assigned portfolios, including cardiometabolic health, women's health, and other priority therapeutic areas.
- Drive performance against revenue, gross margin, profitability, patient access, and agreed commercial objectives; identify performance gaps and lead corrective action plans with country teams.
- Lead the regional governance cadence, including monthly and quarterly business reviews, senior leadership meetings, and decision papers, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of material issues.
- Identify and advance growth opportunities across existing brands, new indications, pipeline assets, new markets, and expanded service scope, supported by robust business cases and resource recommendations.
- Coordinate regional launch readiness across commercial, regulatory, medical, market access, supply chain, and finance workstreams; monitor milestones, resolve dependencies, and escalate launch risks.
- Drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with country teams, finance, supply chain, and clients to improve forecast accuracy, inventory health, supply continuity, and working capital outcomes.
- Monitor contractual commitments, service levels, investments, and agreed deliverables; coordinate Legal, Finance, Compliance, Regulatory, and other functions to manage risks, disputes, and scope alignment.
- Protect DKSH's commercial position while maintaining constructive, transparent client relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant policies, agreements, and governance standards.
- Facilitate best-practice sharing across markets and translate regional insights into practical improvements in execution, capability, and partnership value.
- Lead through influence in a complex matrix environment, creating accountability across country and regional teams without direct authority.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal leaders, framing complex issues, aligning differing perspectives, and driving timely, fact-based decisions.
- Represent DKSH with commercial judgment, resilience, and professionalism in sensitive negotiations and escalations.
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum 8 years of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences commercial experience, including at least 3 years in a regional, alliance management, commercial strategy, or strategic account role.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-market initiatives and senior stakeholder relationships across multiple APAC markets.
- Experience in primary care and/or specialty care commercialization, including established brands, lifecycle management, and new product launches.
- Experience in cardiometabolic, cardiovascular, renal, or women's health portfolios is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working with outsourced commercialization, distribution, full-agency, or multi-country partnership models is advantageous.
- Strong strategic account management, alliance management, joint business planning, and stakeholder governance capabilities.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations, market access, lifecycle management, launch excellence, and commercial excellence across APAC.
- Commercial and financial acumen, including revenue, margin, profitability, investment, forecasting, business case development, and performance risk analysis.
- Working knowledge of commercial agreements, contractual obligations, service levels, governance, change control, and risk management.
- Ability to translate regional strategy into clear country priorities, execution plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills across internal and external senior stakeholders in multicultural environments.
- Strong analytical judgment with the ability to synthesize complex commercial, operational, and financial information into decision-ready recommendations.
- Proactive and resilient, with the ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, sensitive issues, and tight timelines with a high degree of autonomy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; fluency in English is mandatory.
