Job Summary

  • Responsible for overseeing, implementing policies and procedures relating to HSE and Security in accordance with the regulatory compliance and industry standards for DKSH.
  • This role works closely with the country HSE Managers by providing coaching, support and guidance to the market.
  • Promoting the culture of Health, Safety Security,and Environmental responsibility throughout the organisation which is embedded into our SCM Sustainability Strategies. 

General Responsibilities

  • Lead global implementation of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Security governance frameworks by sustaining an integrated management system aligned with regulatory, market, and DKSH standards.
  • Conduct internal HSE and Security audits, risk assessments, BIAs, and incident investigations to identify hazards, security gaps, operational impacts, root causes, and required corrective actions.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and alignment to market HSE and Security teams to ensure consistent adoption of global policies, operational controls, and emergency protocols.
  • Develop and deliver training to strengthen HSE, Security, BCP readiness, crisis response capability, and operational best practices across all functions and markets.
  • Support and implement environmental programs including waste, pollution prevention, and sustainability while embedding relevant security and safety controls in operational processes.
  • Oversee global physical and supply chain security controls across SCM sites, including access control, CCTV, perimeter protection, and secure transport requirements.
  • Drive TAPA FSR/TSR compliance by leading readiness assessments, pre-audit checks, corrective actions, and ongoing surveillance.
  • Develop Security risk registers, threat assessments, and mitigation plans for high-risk products, routes, and markets.
  • Act as a key member of the crisis management team during major disruptions, safety incidents, or security events.
  • Lead SCM Business Continuity Planning by validating,updating and implementing SCM BCPs, coordinating BIAs, and ensuring markets are equipped to respond to disruptions, crises, and security breaches.
  • Monitor HSE, Security, and BCP performance through KPIs and provide regular reporting to senior management, regulatory bodies, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of digital reporting tools, dashboards, and systems that support global HSE, Security, and BCP governance.
  • Champion a strong safety and security culture across SCM through engagement campaigns, awareness programs, and leadership influence.
  • Ensure timely closure of non-conformities, corrective actions, and audit findings through structured follow-up and governance routines.
  • Stay updated on emerging HSE, Security, and regulatory requirements across all operating markets and ensure timely compliance and implementation.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a relevant field such as quality management, occupational health and safety, or environmental management is required.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management in a multinational or global organization is preferred, along with a track record of successfully leading global initiatives.
  • A strong understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards related to quality, health, safety, and environmental issues is essential.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs related to these areas is a plus.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain including managing warehouse operations.
  • Understanding of local, regional and international regulations,
  • Ability to lead and motivate highly matrix team to create and maintain Health, Safety and Security culture in the organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for building relationships with stakeholders, including employees, management, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations
  • Strong networking and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and convince without authority
  • Familiar and comfortable with working within a decentralized organization with matrix structures and reporting lines
  • Agile & adaptable and eager to learn new skills

Education

  • Bachelors or Master degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or engineering is required. 
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), GSDP,GMP or ISO 14001 & 45001 Lead Auditor certification is a must.
