About The Role

The Manager, Group Supply Chain Innovation Solutions Engineering & Design is a key enabler of DKSH's regional supply chain excellence, leading end-to-end solution design projects that enhance operational efficiency, business competitiveness, and customer value across Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This role empowers DKSH's diverse business segments by transforming complex operational requirements into scalable, practical, and cost-effective supply chain solutions that support sustainable growth and long-term partnerships.

What You Will Deliver

  • Lead and support regional supply chain solution design projects from opportunity assessment and concept development through implementation, stabilization, and handover, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Develop warehouse, fulfillment, transportation, and inventory concepts that are cost-effective, operationally executable, and tailored to customer, country, and business unit requirements.
  • Analyze operational data including volume, storage conditions, throughput, productivity, cost, and capacity drivers to deliver fact-based recommendations that support sound business decisions.
  • Conduct supply chain network modelling, distribution center (DC) footprint studies, capacity assessments, and scenario evaluations across multiple countries and business units to inform strategic planning.
  • Design DC layouts, storage concepts, and material flow solutions that optimize space utilization, operational efficiency, and scalability.Evaluate automation, robotics, material handling equipment (MHE), and digital solutions to identify meaningful improvements in productivity, safety, and service quality.Support requests for quotation (RFQ), requests for proposal (RFP), and customer solution proposals through operational design, data analysis, costing assumptions, and business case development.Translate customer and business requirements into commercially viable and operationally executable solutions, ensuring all key requirements are documented and aligned before implementation begins.
  • Lead cross-functional supply chain projects from concept through go-live, stabilization, and handover, developing project charters, workplans, timelines, risk registers, governance routines, and communication materials.
  • Coordinate inputs from country Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams, business units, finance, commercial teams, information technology (IT), vendors, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track.
  • Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, costs, and decisions, escalating issues proactively to maintain momentum and leadership alignment.Identify and act on opportunities to improve productivity, service quality, space utilization, inventory flow, and operating costs through data-driven analysis and site observations.
  • Support the adoption of automation, digital tools, and standardized ways of working that deliver measurable value to the business.Serve as a trusted solution design partner to country SCM teams, business units, customers, and regional leadership on supply chain design and optimization topics.
  • Facilitate alignment between regional and country stakeholders, ensuring project scope, assumptions, decisions, and next steps are clearly defined and communicated.
  • Collaborate with the Solution Engineering & Design team and the wider Supply Chain Innovation (SCI) Group to share knowledge, apply standards, and drive consistent project delivery across the region.
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; a combination of work experience and education will be considered.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, fulfillment, solution design, network planning, or project management.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing or leading workstreams in cross-functional supply chain, logistics, or operations projects.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting regional or multi-country projects, including data collection, stakeholder alignment, business case development, and implementation support.
  • Experience using supply chain modelling, warehouse design, data analysis, or visualization tools to support operational and strategic decision-making is preferred.Strong knowledge of DC operations, warehouse layout, material flow, storage concepts, capacity planning, and operational process design.Experience with supply chain network modelling tools such as Coupa Supply Chain Guru/Llamasoft or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capability across data validation, scenario modelling, cost analysis, productivity assessment, and business case development.Good understanding of project management methodologies; formal training or certification such as the Project Management Institute (PMI), PRINCE2, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Warehouse Management System (WMS), or other warehouse and supply chain systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, MHE, conveyor systems, or other warehouse technology is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to connect operational assumptions to cost, service, and business impact.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for effective decision-making.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills to collaborate effectively with regional and global teams.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable operating in a regional, cross-functional environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities, ambiguity, and tight timelines.
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to validating assumptions, data inputs, and solution feasibility before making recommendations.
  • Safety-conscious mindset when designing, evaluating, or implementing operational solutions involving people, facilities, equipment, and vendors.
