Job Summary

The Manager, Central Planning Excellence is adept at navigating complex challenges and making data-driven decisions. This pivotal role is instrumental in enhancing CFR/OTIF and S&OP expertise across markets, underscoring our commitment to promoting efficiency and innovation throughout the SCM (Supply Chain Management) operations.

This role is entrusted with the responsibility of leading and optimizing planning processes, spearheading data analysis, and ensuring stringent process governance. This role necessitates a strategic thinker possessing robust analytical skills, sound business acumen, and an in-depth understanding of SCM and S&OP.

The manager is tasked with streamlining central planning processes, bolstering decision-making capabilities, conducting comprehensive data analysis, and ensuring seamless coordination across the supply chain and commercial teams. This role is integral to driving operational excellence and strategic alignment within the organization.

General Responsibilities

  • Streamline central planning processes to enhance decision-making and ensure efficient coordination across the supply chain and commercial teams
  • As an SME with in-depth knowledge of SCM process, S&OP Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning and Inventory optimization. Apply business acumen and ABCXYZ analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and business strategies.
  • Establish, improve & sustain planning excellence in collaboration with all stakeholders. Develop and implement best-in-class planning processes and strategy to ensure efficient and effective operations. Optimizing inventory planning, crafting a comprehensive S&OP strategy and a roadmap for global SCM. Develop inventory strategy for finished goods as per business strategy and company target.
  • Leverage strong knowledge of Supply Chain and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to drive strategic planning initiatives. Drive the S&OP process improvement by leading the implementation of process change and system development across the region.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Perform deep dive data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Drive the improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve organizational goals.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste/write off and enhance productivity.
  • Enhance CFR (Case Fill Rate) and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) service levels to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure adherence to established processes and standards and implement governance frameworks. Oversee logics in used, data quality, reliability and consistency within the KPI dashboards.
  • Safeguarding the performance of Power BI dashboards and reporting, ensuring they provide accurate and actionable insights. Partnering with the CSSC (IT) and Group SCM/BU teams to implement planning tools and create Power BI dashboards.

Education

  • Relevant degrees such as Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
