Job Summary

The Associate Director/ Director, Regional Sales Watches (Asia) will oversee and drive the wholesale business for Malaysia, Thailand, and Hong Kong, with fully fledged business operations. The role is responsible for managing local wholesale teams, optimizing sales performance, ensuring profitability, and maintaining healthy inventory levels. He/she will work closely with local teams to implement business strategies aligned with DKSH watches / Maurice Lacroix’s global vision.

General Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Lead and drive sales growth across Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and China.
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, EBIT, and inventory management (NOC) targets.
  • Monitor market trends and identify business opportunities to expand brand presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail networks.

 

Market & Team Leadership

  • Provide leadership, training, and development to ensure high-performance sales teams in each market.
  • Align local teams with global sales strategies while adapting to market-specific needs.

 

Performance Management

  • Set, track, and achieve key performance indicators (sales, EBIT, and inventory management/NOC).
  • Optimize inventory management to maintain a balanced stock level while driving sell-through.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide strategic guidance to local teams.
  • Work closely with finance and operations to ensure efficient budgeting and forecasting.

 

Collaborating & Reporting

  • Report to the global headquarters on regional sales performance, market insights, and business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the international marketing team to ensure brand consistency and impactful activations in each market.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth product flow and delivery.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury watch sales or a similar high-end retail environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and oversee team performance to achieve functional and organizational goals
  • Proven track record in regional sales management within Asia.
  • Exhibit strong expertise in the watch industry, including products, markets, competitors, customer dynamics, and contemporary trade practices.
  • Deep understanding of wholesale and retail dynamics in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
  • Possess a broad understanding of supplier and customer relationship management, covering supply chain, field sales, marketing, and branding.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is essential.
  • Strong teamwork and initiative.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing multi-market teams.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset is highly required with the ambition to grow the businesses and make them profitable
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in sales forecasting, financial planning, and inventory control.
  • Willingness to travel across the region as needed.

Education

Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Economics or a related discipline is preferred.
