Job Summary

Lead and drive data analytics initiatives for DKSH Supply Chain Innovation (SCI) Group using Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, and others. Collaborate with the Supply Chain Innovation (SCI) and SCM teams to support all supply chain analytics efforts. 

General Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage data analytics for DKSH Supply Chain Innovation (SCI) Group using BI tools like Power BI, Excel, Python, and SQL.
  • Perform data extraction, interpretation, and analysis to support decision-making, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Understand DKSH Group’s data management architecture and become proficient with DKSH databases, Lighthouse, and CSSC resources.
  • Derive actionable business insights, lead cross-functional projects, and drive improvements within SCM.
  • Identify risks, issues, and opportunities, coordinating resolutions and improvements across functions.
  • Develop and deliver SCM data analytics programs for DKSH Supply Chain Management community.
  • Train DKSH SCM teams in data analytics techniques and tools.
  • Create presentations, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders and deliver actionable insights for supply chain projects.
  • Ensure projects meet business requirements through effective scoping, planning, and execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to define business, country, operational requirements, and costs, enabling strong business cases and budgets.
  • Document detailed end-to-end business and technical requirements to finalize system configurations, timelines, and costs.
  • Develop project plans, tasks, and communication materials for seamless project management.
  • Lead or support SCI projects, and deliver projects on time.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations and DKSH policies;
  • Manage changes in scope or approach through thorough review and approval processes.
  • Report target achievements, identify corrective actions, and ensure metrics are accessible for stakeholders.
  • Design and implement flexible solutions to improve business efficiency and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that add value to the SCM function.
  • Foster effective relationships with internal and external clients, customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Accomplished data analyst or assistant manager with 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics in traditional retail, e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proficient in Business Intelligence tools, including Power BI (3–5 years).
  • Expertise in data analysis, visualization, and modelling, with strong Excel proficiency and experience handling large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience (3 – 5 years) with platforms like SAP WM, SAP EWM, Oracle, or custom ERP systems for supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with SQL, database management systems (DBMS), and database design/schema (preferred).
  • Exposure to Python and automated MHE or manufacturing systems (preferred).
  • General understanding of software and hardware system interactions.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills; highly detail-oriented.
  • Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions.
  • Skilled in predicting market trends and customer demand to optimize supply chain decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for effective global team collaboration.
  • Demonstrated management skills with a focus on results and timely delivery.
  • Commercial and financial awareness to support strategic decision-making.
  • Organized and results-driven, with the ability to plan and meet deadlines effectively.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer or data science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent education or experience)
