We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Corporate Accountant. You will oversee general ledger, prepare statutory financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting principles. This role includes leading the external audit process, conducting financial due diligence, analyzing financial data, and maintaining the accuracy of the company’s financial records. Additionally, the role involves supporting the month-end close process and leading or supporting system integration, M&A (mergers & acquisitions), and process simplification projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely consolidated statutory financial reporting package, leveraging in-depth knowledge of accounting standards
  • Conduct financial trend analysis across financial statements to provide insights into financial performance
  • Lead the external audit process including establishing & maintaining clear cadence and on-site audit for General Ledger
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of audit requests and related deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, principles, policies, and industry regulations and manage the accuracy of the general ledger including lease accounting & fixed asset in collaboration with the overseas shared services
  • Collaborate with overseas shared service and local finance team for monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation
  • Assist in the preparation of local central services budget, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Offering guidance, mentorship, and training opportunities to support the professional growth of the team member
  • Lead or support various projects, including system integration, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and process simplification initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or CA qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and statutory financial reporting requirements
  • Previous experience in M&A will be advantageous
  • SAP S4 Hana functional skills preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in guiding and managing teams
