The purpose of this position is to be a primary point of contact to targeted HCPs and key accounts to drive long term sustainable relationships through quality use of client medicines and achieve agreed sales targets within an assigned expense budget.

• To achieve agreed sales targets within an assigned expense budget
• To achieve agreed SFE targets for the allocated territory by targeting relevant HCPs
• To drive long term sustainable relationships for sponsor client through quality use of client medicines
• To provide tailored value propositions to HCPs that are mutually beneficial to client business and drive growth of the product portfolio
• To identify key customer differentials to best position the client branded products
• Report all Adverse Events to Pharmacovigilance within 24 hours
• Manage cross functional relationships within the sponsor client business.
• To promote client products to targeted HCPs as per the defined and communicated key selling messages delivered from marketing
• To use all approved and relevant resources (promotional materials) available to deliver the key selling messages to the targeted HCPs
• To act as a conduit of information from the external environment to head office
• To communicate effectively with colleagues for the purpose of collaboration, information sharing and alignment, namely Medical and Marketing areas
• Interact responsibly and within Medicines Australia (MA) guidelines with targeted HCPs, professional associations and other key stakeholders
• Respond to customer requests for scientific and medical information in a comprehensive, timely and customer focused manner

Education
- Bachelors degree in healthcare/science (ideal)
- Preferably at least 3 years sales experience in a client/customer facing role.
- Field based territory management would be viewed adventageously
- Must have a valid Australian drivers licence and clean record.
