DKSH in Australia has quite a dynamic treasury function to match a rapidly growing business with various business structural changes occurring each year on account of M&A activities and expanding business. Considering the size and global presence of the business, you will get experience of cross-border funding, inter-bank cash sweeping and FX hedging which offer a variety of opportunities for you to further develop your corporate skillset. You will work closely with the Australian treasury manager, global treasury team and the local finance team.

We are looking for a proactive & detail-oriented treasury analyst with treasury specific experience to join our dynamic team! This is a newly created & unique role where you will play a key part in supporting the treasury manager in undertaking key operational treasury related tasks. This role requires someone who is operational, able to hit the ground running and able to get into the detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assistance with preparation and measurement of accurate cashflows (fortnightly cash flows and rolling 12-month cashflow) at total group level and by business unit
• Monitoring cash position weekly and track short term cash requirements, ensuring appropriate liquidity is maintained at all times in lines with group policies. Ensure the treasury manager is informed of any potentially adverse liquidity events
• Assisting the Treasury Manager in completing necessary analysis and production of data for reporting to senior management and external parties related to liquidity, funding and other treasury related matters in a timely manner
• Support monthly accounting for treasury related items as required, including journals and reconciliations
• Responsible for bank account administration and query resolution related to transaction banking
• Support Treasury Manager and BPO in meeting liquidity and FX hedging requirements
• Assistance with management of payment channels including checking payment proposals and authorisations to ensure all payments and treasury cashflows are settled in a timely manner, and all necessary documentation is maintained for audit purpose
• Supporting the bi-annual tactical cash flow process
• Liaising with banks to ensure up-to-date bank signatories
• From time-to-time support strategic projects such as a company-wide transactional banking review, LE simplification, automation and M&A projects

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar corporate treasury environment or banking role
• Experience in a medium to large commercial business environment
• Degree in Financial, Business, Economics or Accounting
• Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
• Proficiency in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets and perform complex functions) to maximize the efficiency and accuracy of cash flow forecasting
• Hands-on experience in SAP/Power BI is preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Advance Excel, Word and PowerPoint and Power Pivot)
• Strong analytical and modelling skills
• Strong with processes and financial controls
• Ability to multitask, follow up, meet deadlines with a focus on results coupled with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with cross functional and cross divisional teams
