Job Summary

Responsible for managing and promoting medical products to healthcare professionals.

General Responsibilities

  • Support your manager in controlling daily expenses and making sure spending follows the budget.
  • Share ideas for medical sales plans based on your experience. Carry out action plans to reach sales targets in your assigned area.
  • Monitor your own and your team’s performance against KPIs and sales plans. Plan and review daily sales activities.
  • Visit and call current and new customers to get orders, arrange product demonstrations, and prepare quotations. Explain product features and benefits clearly.
  • Prepare quotations, delivery details, and sales terms according to company policy.
  • Report competitor activities and products.
  • Record sales data for reporting and tracking. Keep customer information updated in the CRM database.Continuously improve sales processes and plans to increase customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
  • Keep a record of customer complaints and follow up to solve issues.
  • Respond to customer orders and questions. Inform customers about promotions and new or upgraded products.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and installation. 
  • Support internal teams in building strong relationships with key customers.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge in assigned products/services/systems and strong selling skills
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of regulatory requirements of products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, warranties, etc.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Good command in English, both written and spoken.

Education

  • B.Pharm or any recognized Science degree.
  • Previous working experience in sales and marketing in the pharma industry.
