About the Role
What You Will Deliver
- Contribute to the management of day-to-day operating expenditures within approved budgets to ensure responsible and efficient use of resources
- Provide informed input to medical sales plans and implement targeted action plans to achieve sales targets across assigned businesses and territories
- Track and review progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales plans, prioritizing daily sales activities to drive results
- Proactively call and visit existing and prospective customers to solicit orders and generate product demonstration and quotation opportunities
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that clearly articulate key features and communicate tangible benefits to customers
- Prepare accurate quotations, tender prices, and delivery and commercial terms in accordance with company policies
- Monitor and report on competitor activities and product developments to inform strategic sales decisions
- Maintain up-to-date customer records and sales data within the appropriate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to support accurate reporting and tracking
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sales processes, customer satisfaction practices, and sales planning to consistently meet and exceed targets
- Manage a customer complaints and issues log, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
- Respond promptly to customer orders and queries, and keep current and prospective customers informed of promotions and new or upgraded products
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery and installation of products and systems
- Support internal stakeholders in developing and nurturing relationships with key customers
What You Bring
- Degree or professional qualification in a Science- or Medical-related discipline
- Fresh graduates from a related discipline are welcome to apply; candidates with 1-3 years of experience in a similar medical sales or healthcare-related role are also encouraged
- Foundational knowledge and understanding of the industry, market landscape, competitors, customers, and relevant products, services, and selling techniques
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, and warranty conditions
- Willingness to travel outstation and manage coverage across more than one territory
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
