DKSH Business Unit Performance Materials distributes specialty chemicals and ingredients for food, pharmaceutical, personal care, and various industrial applications. With 53 innovation centers and regulatory support worldwide, DKSH creates cutting-edge formulations that comply with local regulations. General Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational processes and solutions to address evolving business needs, collaborating cross-functionally with Business Lines, departments, carriers, and freight forwarders.
• Lead and coordinate activities across European and local warehouses and carriers to ensure cost efficiency and high-quality service delivery
• Manage claims resolution process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of all claims received, and provide support to the Operations team as needed
• Implement tools and provide internal training to align with DKSH strategy and guidelines, promoting continuous improvement and efficiency
• Foster integration between purchase, logistics, sales, and other operational areas to optimize performance in schedule attainment, adherence, and on-time delivery
• Develop capacity and capability plans for staffing, IT solutions, and outsourcing to meet operational needs and customer requirements
• Review documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all transactions, maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Quality) to maintain high levels of client and customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain manpower scheduling and training plans to ensure adequate staffing levels and skills to meet operational demands
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to policies and procedures to increase operational efficiency

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, or similar related discipline with strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management, with proven strategic/tactical financial skills to drive operational improvements across supply chain
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
• Regulatory knowledges for transportation of dangerous goods
• Advanced knowledge in warehouses and carriers’ management
• Proven track record of leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability in multi-tasking and prioritizing workload
• High attention to detail, follow-through and accuracy
• Excellent and fluent writing and speaking skills in both French and English
• Based in our office in Lyon-Miribel
