Job Summary
Sell products/services to achieve team sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives
General Responsibilities
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources.
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources.
- Support superior in managing northern team and develop team capability.
- Check potential store to expend the market.
- Communicate and ensure understanding of promotional activities and objectives by field team.
- Check availability of point-of-sale materials in stores. Ensure promotional activities have been implemented and maintained.
- Check to ensure generic, store-specific planograms and category flows are implemented/maintained.
- Check shelf-health is implemented and maintained. Provide feedback to clients on slow/fast sellers and recommend appropriate actions to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure proper management of stock in stock rooms
- Collect and give feedback using available feedback platforms usage (e.g. manual tracking, SMART, etc.)
- Gather reports/insights on competitor's activities, promotions, rotation of stock, product recalls, pricing, planograms, and new innovations
- Execute continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc. Track and collect payments from customers.
- Maintain a customer complaints/issues log and follow up on customer issues.
- Respond to customer orders and queries. Inform current and prospective customers of promotions and new/upgraded products.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products. Support internal stakeholders in relationship development with key customers

Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Up to five years' experience in a similar role
- Knowledge in assigned territories/products/services and strong selling skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, basic research and analytical skills .
- Proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Fluency in local language and basic in English, both written and spoken
Education
Diploma or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/ Economics or a related discipline
