About the Role
What You Will Deliver
- Develop and execute targeted sales action plans informed by field experience to meet or exceed sales targets across assigned territories.
- Track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales plans, prioritizing and reviewing daily sales activities to sustain consistent performance.
- Engage existing and prospective customers through regular visits and calls to solicit orders, secure product demonstration opportunities, and communicate compelling product benefits.
- Conduct effective product demonstrations that highlight key features and customer value to support purchase decisions.
- Prepare accurate quotations, tender pricing, and commercial terms in alignment with company policies and guidelines.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities and market developments to support informed strategic decisions.
- Record and maintain accurate sales data and customer information within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to enable reliable reporting and tracking.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across sales processes and customer engagement practices to enhance overall performance and satisfaction.
- Manage customer complaints and issues diligently, ensuring timely follow-up and positive resolution outcomes.
- Respond promptly to customer orders and inquiries, communicating relevant promotions and product updates to support retention and growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely product delivery or installation and to strengthen relationships with key accounts.
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.
What You Bring
- Degree or professional qualification in a Science- or Medical-related discipline.
- At least two years and above of relevant work experience in a similar role, particularly in the prescription market.
- Foundational knowledge of the medical sales industry, market trends, competitor landscape, and customer needs, with developing commercial selling capabilities.
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, and warranties.
- Willingness to frequently travel outstation within East Malaysia and manage responsibilities across multiple areas as required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
