General Responsibilities
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets for the HRIS function to ensure efficient usage of resources
- Monitor execution/progress of short-/long-term plans to cater to HR system requirement needs, in line with Group-wide offerings and IT governance standards
- Test and implement HRIS-related solutions (e.g. SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, etc.) to drive HR strategic and operational effectiveness
- Monitor ongoing daily HRIS and employee data integration between various system platforms (e.g. SAP HCM, Identity Governance, HR payroll system, etc.) to ensure the smooth running of HR operational activities
- Review system workflows and specifications. Escalate problems/issues. Manage high-level data quality in all HRIS
- Conduct standard diagnosis and troubleshooting on software packages and hardware issues to support stakeholders' daily HR Technology queries/requests
- Monitor HRIS training schedules and communication plans to equip employees with knowledge to operate existing/new/updated systems
- Execute HRIS projects to enhance existing system needs (e.g., new system implementation, HRIS upgrades, standardization to global requirements, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure stakeholder requirements are met regarding HR systems
- Manage relationship with external HR system vendors/consultants to enable smooth running of system upgrade/improvement initiatives
- Assist in the implementation of data quality measurements and identify patterns and trends in data gaps in a deductive manner
- Assist in analytical problem solving and generate actionable recommendations by analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data
- Assist superior in guiding team members to ensure effective delivery of HR requests
- Collaborate with IT architecture team to monitor and optimize system performance
- Conduct refresher training to upskill HR personnel from time to time in terms of data quality and data management best practices
- Review HRIS user access rights with country HRIS personnel and recommend options to align to global standards and guidelines
- Provide input to data dictionary, business blueprint of existing HRIS-related solutions and data architecture documentation in a details approach
- Conduct knowledge transfer session to other team members
Job requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
- Demonstrate sound knowledge in SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, talent management, HRIS trends, best practices, design, solution evaluation and the use of appropriate technologies
- Demonstrate knowledge in HR-related needs and provide consulting on design and delivery of HRIS solutions
- Demonstrate research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-culture interactions
Education
- Degree in IT or a related discipline
Work experience
- Minimum two to five years’ experience in a similar role
