Title:  Specialist, Enterprise Technology Services - Operations & Delivery

Job summary
As part of the Enterprise Technology Services team, your role is instrumental in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our SAP ecosystems. Leveraging your technical expertise, you provide guidance and support to users and project teams. Additionally, you collaborate closely with internal IT teams and external technology partners, enabling organizations to harness the full potential of SAP technologies and beyond, ultimately gaining a competitive advantage in digital transformation.
 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain system stability and performance - ensures the stability and high performance of these systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• Provide technical support and resolve complex issues - provides technical support to end-users and resolves complex system issues.
• Safeguard System Security - expertise in system hardening and SAP security baselines and best practices.
• Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning – responsible for disaster recovery planning, system backups, and proactive monitoring to ensure business continuity and minimize the impact of system failures or data loss.
• Optimize system performance and scalability - contribute to system scalability, enabling organizations to accommodate growth and handle increased user loads effectively to enhance user experience.
• Lead or participate in SAP system upgrades, migrations, and system landscape transformations. This involves planning, coordinating, and executing upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• As a subject matter expert, SAP Basis provides valuable insights and recommendations for system enhancements, infrastructure upgrades, and technological advancements. 
• Document and share knowledge - Documents system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to foster professional growth and continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications:

• Relevant professional degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Extensive experience in SAP Basis administration and solutions.
• Strong database management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Project management experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a diverse environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning.
• Relevant SAP certifications and cloud technology experience are a plus.
