Title:  SharePoint & Power Platform Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint & Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions that enhance collaboration, productivity, and business processes across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of SharePoint-based business solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Power Platform solutions to automate business processes and improve workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement scalable and reliable solutions using best practices in Power Platform development.
• Create and maintain documentation including technical designs, process flow diagrams, and user guides.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform solutions, including performance optimization and debugging.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Power Platform technologies and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement SharePoint applications and solutions based on business requirements using SharePoint Online (Office 365) and SharePoint Server.
• Customize SharePoint sites using web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, content types, and other SharePoint features.
• Develop custom web parts, event receivers, timer jobs, and other SharePoint components as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business analysts, project managers, and end-users to deliver comprehensive SharePoint solutions.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet technical and functional requirements.
• Develop tests cases for functional, performance, and security testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SharePoint sites and applications, including performance tuning and optimization.
   

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 
• Proven experience as a Developer working with Sharepoint and Power Platform technologies, including designing and developing complex solutions.
• Proficiency in Power Platform components such as Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Flow), and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and experience with Agile development practices.
• Deep knowledge of SharePoint Online (Office 365)
• Proficiency in developing custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell scripting, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and C#.
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with external systems and databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
