Title:  Senior/Lead SAP Fiori & UI5 Developer

Job Summary
As a Senior Specialist in SAP Applications, you will provide technical leadership in the design, development, implementation and deployment of SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and ABAP-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP UI5/Fiori, ABAP programming, and integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, WM, and PP. This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across both functional and technical teams.

General Responsibilities
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, scalable SAP solutions aligned with DKSH’s global business needs, particularly within the consumer goods and healthcare sectors. The role involves developing and enhancing SAPUI5 applications using HTML5, JavaScript, and MVC frameworks, while analyzing business processes and requirements to design and implement end-to-end SAP Fiori and ABAP solutions.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF). The position also requires optimizing and troubleshooting existing Fiori applications and ABAP code to improve performance and scalability. In addition, you will integrate Fiori applications with SAP Gateway and OData services while ensuring that all technical solutions align with DKSH’s SAP architecture and standards.

As part of the delivery lifecycle, you will conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and support integration and user acceptance testing activities. You will also support deployment and post-go-live activities to ensure system integrity, stability, and optimal performance.

Leadership Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the development and enhancement of SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE and SAP Business Application Studio (BAS). You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers while ensuring adherence to SAP development best practices.

You will stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies and continuously drive improvements and optimizations across SAP applications. Maintaining proper documentation and ensuring compliance with delivery methodologies will also be part of your responsibilities.

Functional Skills and Knowledge
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in S/4HANA ABAP concepts and SAP Gateway. A solid understanding of OData services, CDS views, and BOPF is required, along with experience in SAP BTP Cockpit, REST APIs, and data modeling.

Experience with SAP Workflow and integration techniques is important, as well as strong capabilities in debugging, performance tuning, and SAP enhancement techniques. Proficiency in database query languages such as MSSQL and MySQL is also expected.

Exposure to Java or J2EE technologies, including the Spring framework and Hibernate, would be an added advantage. Candidates should also have hands-on experience working within different project methodologies.

Soft Skills
The role requires excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. The candidate should demonstrate strong mentoring abilities and be comfortable guiding junior specialists. Collaboration is key, and the role involves working closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
