Title:  Senior Specialist Technical Delivery - Application Programming Interface

Job Summary

A full stack technical developer who has experience in managing the end to end of API development and support. Develop and maintain APIs using a Hybrid Integration Platform (HIP). Provide support to different stakeholders who would be consuming the API. Participate in the integration projects and change requests (CR)/user stories.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

Must have hands-on experience in developing APIs and using SAP CPI platform. Experienced in SAP ABAP programming and SAP PI/PO platform. Experience in SAP ECC and S4/Hana platform. Experienced in SAP modules such as SD, MM and FICO. Experienced in Agile methodologies and have applied them in working environment is mandatory. Experience in system integration such as to SAP, Salesforce and other applications. Experience with data modelling and databases, data integration and migration, including ETL technical work. Familiar with DevOps concepts and tools. Experience with HIP and API management platforms such as Informatica, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, SAP Integration Suite or others. Strong in design standards, patterns and best practices.

General Responsibilities

Build selected business services as APIs for internal and external company’s consumption. Perform R&D and propose new APIs that can unlock value to the company and contribute to the API strategy for the company. Produce specifications and documentations for APIs and to ensure they are maintained to the required quality and standard. Design, develop and maintain APIs in a cloud-based or on-premise architecture and platform. Project management in terms of cost, timeline and quality in various projects such as the redevelopment of existing applications’ integration to APIs and micro-services architecture with minimum impact to consuming applications. Participate in requirement and design discussions with stakeholders such as business users and technical teams. Develop tests cases for functional, performance, and security testing. Monitor integration and APIs’ statuses, business metrics, and consumption patterns and derive action plan to improve overall metrics. Adhere to IT policies and procedures, such as for quality and productivity standards that enable the team to meet established KPIs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent.

Work Experience

At least 4 years of working experience with at least 2 years in SAP CPI platform.
