Job Summary

As a key member of the Enterprise Technology Services team, you play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of our SAP ecosystems. With your technical expertise, you will provide guidance and support to users and project teams while collaborating closely with internal IT teams and external technology partners. Your efforts will enable the organization to maximize the potential of SAP technologies and stay competitive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• System Stability & Performance: Ensure high system stability and performance, minimizing downtime and maintaining uninterrupted operations.
• Technical Support & Issue Resolution: Provide expert-level technical support, addressing and resolving complex system issues for end-users.
• System Security: Safeguard system security by applying system hardening techniques and adhering to SAP security baselines and best practices.
• Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Lead disaster recovery planning, manage system backups, and implement proactive monitoring to ensure business continuity and minimize the impact of system failures or data loss.
• System Optimization & Scalability: Optimize system performance and scalability, enabling the organization to accommodate growth, handle increased user loads, and enhance user experiences.
• Upgrades & Migrations: Lead or participate in SAP system upgrades, migrations, and landscape transformations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Expert Insights: As a subject matter expert in SAP Basis, provide strategic recommendations for system enhancements, infrastructure upgrades, and technological advancements.
• Knowledge Documentation & Sharing: Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Extensive experience in SAP Basis administration and solutions.
• Strong expertise in database management and system optimization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills in a diverse environment.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest industry trends.
• SAP certifications and experience with cloud technologies are highly desirable.
