Job Summary
Lead a regional BD Operations team to turn market insights into strategy, orchestrate cross‑market client engagement, and deliver KPI‑driven transparency across 16 healthcare markets.
General Responsibilities

Orchestrate BD growth pillars end‑to‑end across 16 markets—align strategy definition, opportunity prioritization, and execution with cross‑functional partners.

Translate country insights into regional choices: set therapeutic‑area focus, portfolio priorities, and client segmentation (SMEs, mid‑size biopharma, MNCs); build frameworks to evaluate, prioritize, communicate, and track opportunities.

Own the client‑engagement narrative: synthesize regional insights and produce data‑driven, executive‑quality content; act as senior support for high‑stakes partner meetings.

Institutionalize operational excellence: standardize BD processes and governance (pipeline reviews, forecasting, planning) and deliver KPI/forecast analyses to improve success, conversion, and pipeline progression.

Activate strategy & orchestrate regionally: establish governance mechanisms, align markets, coordinate client‑engagement processes, and consolidate country inputs for consistent decisions and a unified regional story.

Continuously improve BD tooling: enhance systems and dashboards to increase pipeline visibility and decision‑making quality.

Prioritize resources & build capability: direct team effort by impact/urgency and recruit, coach, and retain top talent.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Cascade strategy, build and develop a high‑performing team, align cross‑functional stakeholders, influence adoption of BD frameworks, optimise resources, institutionalise best‑practice operations, and use KPI insights to continuously improve execution.

Solve & deliver at pace: Diagnose operational bottlenecks, set clear hypotheses, and lead multi‑stakeholder projects to measurable BD outcomes (e.g., win‑rate, conversion, forecast accuracy).

Operate with agility: Pivot quickly to market or client signals, reprioritise, and land results in fast‑moving, multi‑market settings.

Education
- Bachelor’s in Business/Marketing/Data Analytics/Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical Sciences (or related).
- Preferred: MBA/Master’s (Business or Healthcare Mgmt) or certifications in Power BI/Tableau/SQL
Experience
- 6–10 years in BD Operations/Support or Research/Proposal Development within healthcare/pharma (or related).
- Regional/multi‑market exposure (e.g., coordinating across multiple countries/markets).
- 2–3 years people leadership (direct line management).
- Advanced Excel plus Power BI/Tableau (and SQL fundamentals) experience in building/reading dashboards and decision support.
- Proven contributions to senior leadership/governance forums (e.g., strategy reviews, steering committees, board/ELT materials).
- Demonstrated cross‑functional collaboration with Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Product/PMM.
- Led/supported strategic initiatives and commercial execution/business operations.
- Analytical to actionable: converts data/insights into clear business recommendations.
- Success in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment across countries/functions/partners.
- Strong communication & presentation skills; confident with senior internal/external stakeholders.
