Title: Senior Business Analyst - API & SAP Integrations

General responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Engage with business users to understand needs, processes, and integration touchpoints.
- Translate business requirements into clear, structured functional specifications for API and SAP CPI integration work.
- Prepare documentation including process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
- Facilitate workshops, clarification sessions, and requirement validation discussions.
Coordination & Delivery Support
- Work closely with API/CPI developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately.
- Coordinate across functional and technical teams to support delivery of integration solutions.
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking, ensuring requirements are met before go-live.
- Assist in reviewing functional outcomes and ensuring solutions align with business needs.
Process Governance & Documentation
- Maintain proper documentation for integrations, including functional specs, usage guides, and support handover material.
- Ensure integration requests follow established processes and governance guidelines.
- Contribute to improvement of integration standards, templates, and BA practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the liaison between business teams and technical teams.
- Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and ensure alignment of expectations.
- Support change impact discussions, rollout planning, and knowledge sharing for new integrations.
Continuous Improvement
- Explore enhancement opportunities and identify integration improvements together with business and developers.
- Participate in Proof-of-Concept (PoC) assessments for new integration capabilities.
- Promote consistency, quality, and reusability in integration-related documentation and processes.
Leadership responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships across business and IT teams.
- Take ownership of deliverables and drive clarity in requirement discussions.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a continuous learning mindset
Job requirements
Functional skills and knowledge
- Solid understanding of APIs, basic integration concepts, and system-to-system communication.
- Understanding of or exposure to SAP CPI, Mulesoft, Boomi, or similar integration tools (no hands-on development required).
- Ability to translate business needs into functional API requirements.
- Familiarity with standard documentation practices (user stories, functional specs, test cases).
- Working knowledge of ERP or enterprise processes (SAP SD/MM/FICO preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Work experience
- 4 - 6 years of experience in Business Analysis or Functional Consultant roles/
- Experience supporting integration-related projects (API, SAP, or enterprise systems).
- Experience coordinating with technical teams for delivery of requirements
