Job summary
As a Scrum Master, you are responsible for driving both delivery excellence and effective ways of working for one of DKSH’s Digital products in an Agile environment, in close partnership with Business and Technology.
This role calls for a change agent with a strong Agile mindset, who looks beyond facilitating ceremonies to influence behaviors, decision-making, and culture. You will apply Scrum with discipline, while flexing coaching approaches and practices based on product context and team maturity, with the objective of enabling high-performing, outcome-driven, and self-managing teams.
General responsibilities
• Guides, mentors, and coaches Scrum Teams on Agile principles and practices to deliver high-quality outcomes, not just outputs, with a strong focus on customer and business value
• Acts as a change agent, shaping mindset, behaviors, and culture by fostering psychological safety, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within and beyond the Scrum team.
• Coaches teams towards becoming high-performing and self-managing, recognizing strengths and areas for improvement, and applying appropriate coaching and development techniques to support team growth over time
• Ensures Scrum is well understood and applied with discipline, while adapting coaching approach and Agile practices based on product context, team maturity, and delivery needs, to progressively guide teams towards becoming high-performing and self-managing.
• Facilitates and supports all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review/Demo, Sprint Retrospective) with a strong emphasis on purpose, engagement, and actionable outcomes.
• Identifies, removes, and escalates team-level and systemic impediments, including organizational constraints, dependencies, unclear ownership, or decision bottlenecks, working collaboratively with leaders and peers where required
• Communicates effectively across Scrum Teams, stakeholders, and partners to enable alignment, shared understanding, and informed decision-making.
• Coaches Product Owners, leaders, and stakeholders on Agile mindset, outcome-based prioritization, realistic planning, and sustainable delivery practices.
• Works with the Scrum team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision-making and support organizational project or product teams running Agile Scrum
• Collaborates with a cross-functional team of development, design, testing, research, and business to deliver amazing experiences for the end user
• Contributes to the advancement of Agile maturity and ways of working across the organization, sharing learnings and improvements beyond individual teams.
• Works closely with the Product Owner to position the product as a strategic asset, supporting clarity of vision, prioritization, and value delivery while enabling effective Scrum execution.
• Develops a strong understanding of business and technical domains to support meaningful discussions around user needs, trade-offs, dependencies, and delivery risks
• Keeps abreast of evolving best practices in Agile, product delivery, and organizational agility, applying relevant insights to improve team and product outcomes.

Functional skills and knowledge
• Strong hands-on experience in Agile delivery environments, including Scrum and Kanban; Scrum or Agile certification is preferred
• Deep understanding of Agile principles with the ability to apply them with structure while adapting coaching approaches to suit different product and team contexts
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and problem-solving skills across multiple levels of the organization
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority, including coaching Product Owners, stakeholders, and leaders
• Strong capabilities in backlog refinement, story slicing, estimation, retrospectives, flow management, and delivery metrics, with a focus on learning and continuous improvement
• Ability to identify patterns, risks, and root causes across teams and systems, rather than addressing symptoms in isolation
• Effective stakeholder management skills, including navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and delivery pressures
