Summary
Deliver Salesforce technical solutions and integrations within the CoE Build & Deliver pillar. The Technical Specialist develops, tests and deploys features and fixes across Salesforce products, contributes to technical debt reduction, and supports troubleshooting for complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Salesforce functionality using Apex, LWC, flows, and declarative configuration where appropriate.
- Build and maintain integrations (APIs, middleware, batch/async processes) aligned with security and data standards.
- Execute unit testing, participate in system/integration testing, and support UAT defect fixes.
- Support deployments and post-release stabilisation; follow change controls and release procedures.
- Troubleshoot defects and incidents; support RCA and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Contribute to refactoring and technical debt reduction initiatives, improving maintainability and performance
- Maintain documentation for developed components, integrations, and operational runbooks
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Hands-on Salesforce development and configuration skills (Apex, LWC, Flows, data model, security/sharing).
- Working knowledge of integration patterns and tools; ability to work with APIs and external systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, release management) and quality practices (testing, code reviews).
- Analytical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience on the Salesforce platform (development, configuration and/or integrations).
- Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Platform Developer I, Administrator, relevant specialist certs).
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile delivery model.
