About the Role
As a Materials Master Data Manager, you are central to sustaining the integrity of DKSH's global supply chain operations, ensuring that material master data across all Business Units and Markets is accurate, governed, and fit for purpose. Your leadership in data quality, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team management, and cross-functional partnerships directly enables operational efficiency, cost savings, and scalable data governance for DKSH.
What You Will Deliver
- Lead and oversee the daily operations and service delivery of a BPO team responsible for the creation, update, and resolution of Materials Master Data (MMD) requests and enquiries across Business Units Consumer Goods (CG) and Healthcare (HEC), with accountability for expanding coverage to Business Units Performance Materials (PM) and Technology (TEC) as transitions occur.
- Own the health and integrity of MMD across all Business Units and Markets by driving systematic data cleanups, resolving both common and complex MMD issues, and delivering regular insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with all Business Units and Markets to identify and execute joint value-creation initiatives, ensuring continuous improvements to the MMD process that drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Champion a strong Data Governance culture across the team and the wider DKSH organization, embedding clear ownership, accountability, and disciplined handling of master data as organizational standards.
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 6 to 10 years of experience in supply chain management, data governance, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with the SAP Materials Management (MM) Module is required; experience with process automation and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to manage and align diverse stakeholders across a global organization.
- Proven people management capability with the ability to lead, develop, and grow a medium-sized BPO team effectively.
- Project management skills to support process enhancements, system improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High computer literacy with solid working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP MM.
- Sound understanding of Supply Chain or Logistics operations and how master data quality underpins business performance.
