About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager, Group IT Project Management to lead SAP-enabled mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration projects across our global organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, from preparation and planning through execution, go-live, hypercare, and project closure. You will coordinate cross-functional business and technology teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives and IT governance standards.

This position is ideal for a seasoned Project Manager with experience delivering enterprise-wide ERP, SAP integration, business transformation, acquisition, carve-out, or post-merger integration programs in multinational environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead and deliver projects using Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and governance frameworks.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including business cases, project charters, RAID logs, communication plans, test plans, cutover plans, and lessons learned.
  • Coordinate project execution across SAP and non-SAP workstreams, including integration, data migration, testing, infrastructure, security, and change management.
  • Drive delivery activities to ensure project objectives are achieved within agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests through established governance processes.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures against approved plans.
  • Coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support.
  • Ensure smooth transition from project implementation to operational support teams.
  • Ensure compliance with DKSH governance, security, audit, and project management standards.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Lead project governance meetings, steering committee sessions, status reporting, and executive communications.
  • Manage relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, implementation partners, and system integrators.
  • Develop and execute stakeholder communication and engagement plans.
  • Drive vendor accountability and ensure delivery commitments are achieved.

Leadership

  • Align project objectives with business and IT strategic priorities.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve key milestones.
  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple countries, business units, and functions.
  • Escalate critical risks and issues appropriately to support timely decision-making.
  • Promote continuous improvement in project management practices and delivery excellence.
  • Demonstrate and uphold DKSH values and leadership behaviours.

 

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 8–12 years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise-wide ERP, SAP integration, or business transformation projects.
  • Experience managing complex projects across multiple countries and business functions.
  • Strong experience coordinating cross-system integration and data migration activities.
  • Experience managing testing, cutover, deployment, and go-live activities.
  • Proven experience managing external vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators.
  • Experience working in multinational organizations and regional delivery environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integrations.
  • Post-merger integrations, carve-outs, or divestiture programs.
  • Large-scale business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience within healthcare, consumer goods, logistics, distribution, or supply chain industries.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Excellent project planning, organization, and execution skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication capabilities.
  • Experience managing project governance, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and project management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
