IT Project Manager 

 

Job Summary

 

Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT projects from initiation through implementation and closure, following DKSH Group IT Project Methodology. Work closely with senior project managers, business stakeholders, cross-functional partners and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards while gaining hands-on experience managing project activities. 

 

General Responsibilities 

 

  • Support the delivery of IT projects using Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies. 

  • Assist in project planning, including scope, timeline, resource coordination, and project documentation. 

  • Assist in Demand Management, including RFx, stakeholder coordination, facilitate meetings with external vendors, documentation and close in timely completion of deliverables. 

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation such as project charters, project plans, meeting minutes, risk and issue logs, status reports, test plans, and lessons learned. 

  • Coordinate project activities across business users, technical teams, vendors, and external partners. 

  • Monitor project tasks and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables. 

  • Escalate potential risks, issues, or delays to the relevant stakeholders.  

  • Support change request tracking and ensure project documentation remains up to date. 

  • Prepare regular project status reports and communication materials for stakeholders. 

  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment planning, and project handover activities to support teams. 

  • Facilitate project meetings, document key decisions, and follow up on action items. 

  • Ensure compliance with DKSH Group IT Project Methodology and governance standards. 

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and team collaboration. 

  • Coordinate and monitor vendor activities, track deliverables and milestones, facilitate status reviews, and escalate risks or issues to ensure vendor commitments are delivered according to agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

Functional Skills and Knowledge 

 

  • Basic understanding of IT project management principles and project delivery lifecycle. 

  • Exposure to Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies. 

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar platforms is an advantage. 

  • Exposure to enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP/business systems is advantageous. 

  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, and deployment processes. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment. 

 

Education 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline. 

 

Work Experience 

 

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT Project Management 

  • Experience supporting software implementation, system enhancement, ERP, digital, or infrastructure projects is preferred. 

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery methodologies is an advantage. 

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, or Agile certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
