About the Role
What You Will Deliver
- Support the development and enhancement of Salesforce applications and features used by business teams.
- Configure Salesforce components such as objects, fields, flows, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and user interfaces.
- Participate in development activities involving Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and platform automation.
- Assist in delivering new capabilities and improvements that create value for users and the business.
- Gain exposure to how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used to support software development, documentation, testing, knowledge discovery, and productivity.
- Leverage AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency and enhance daily work activities.
- Contribute ideas on how AI and automation can simplify processes and improve user experiences.
- Share fresh perspectives and creative ideas to help solve business and technical challenges.
- Participate in discussions on system improvements, automation opportunities, and user experience enhancements.
- Challenge conventional approaches by proposing innovative and practical solutions.
- Work closely with team members across technical and business functions to understand requirements and solution designs.
- Gain exposure to project delivery, prioritization, issue management, and work tracking using Jira.
- Participate in solution discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team meetings.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and user guides as required.
- Present ideas, findings, and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
- Assist in testing and validating Salesforce solutions to ensure quality and functionality.
- Help troubleshoot issues and support problem investigation under guidance from experienced team members.
- Support deployment and release activities across different environments.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and user satisfaction.
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines.
- Able to commit to a minimum internship period of six (6) months, with preference given to candidates available for nine (9) to twelve (12) months.
- A basic understanding of one or more of the following is preferred: programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar; web technologies including Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript; databases and Structured Query Language (SQL); Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and system integrations; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); and version control tools such as Git.
- No prior Salesforce experience is required; a willingness to learn is more important.
- Curious and passionate about technology, with excitement to learn about Salesforce, AI, automation, and cloud technologies.
- A creative thinker who enjoys solving problems, is proactive, and willing to take initiative.
- Open-minded, eager to contribute ideas, and a strong team player with good communication skills.
- Adaptable, willing to learn from challenges, and motivated to make a meaningful impact during the internship.
- Nice to have: Salesforce Trailhead experience; Salesforce Associate Certification; Salesforce Artificial Intelligence (AI) Associate Certification; participation in hackathons, technology competitions, or personal projects; and interest in AI, automation, or digital innovation.
