Job Summary 

 

As a member of IT security team, it gives an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Application and Enterprise Architecture Security (AEAS). The intern will support security initiatives across application security, secure architecture design, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management. This role is ideal for candidates interested in building a strong foundation in enterprise cybersecurity practices and secure system design. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support the implementation of application security and enterprise security architecture practices.  

  • Assist in performing basic security assessments on applications, systems, and APIs.   

  • Assist in vulnerability identification, analysis, and tracking across applications and infrastructure.  

  • Contribute to the review of secure coding practices and application security requirements.  

  • Support threat modeling activities and identification of potential security risks in system designs.  

  • Assist in evaluating security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA) and documenting findings.  

  • Help maintain security dashboards, reports, and documentation for AEAS initiatives.  

  • Assist in researching emerging threats, attack techniques, and security best practices.  

  • Support development teams in understanding security requirements and remediation approaches.  

  • Contribute to security governance activities such as policy, standards, and guideline documentation.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, and security operations.  

  • Perform API, mobile and web application penetration testing. 

  • Provide regular updates to the functional superior on security assessment reports with detailed security issues and recommend solutions. 

  • Help team to find and develop potential solutions based on AI usage.  

 

 

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or AI. 

  • Curious about how IT teams operate and keen to learn about Cybersecurity. 

  • Enjoy communicating and working with people, including teams from different countries and cultures. 

  • Positive attitude, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. 

  • Able to work independently on assigned tasks, while also enjoying teamwork and collaboration. 

  • Basic understanding of application security concepts (e.g., OWASP Top 10, secure coding principles).  

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system architecture concepts.  

  • Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, REST APIs, microservices architecture).
