Job Summary

As a Website Management Intern, you will assist in managing and updating WordPress websites. You’ll gain hands-on experience in content creation, editing, SEO, and website functionality testing, while supporting the digital team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills in web development and digital marketing.
 
Job Description: 

Assist in maintaining and updating WordPress websites, including creating, editing, and formatting content to ensure it aligns with branding and enhances user experience.
Upload and organize blog posts, product pages, and media content efficiently, ensuring proper categorization and consistency across the site for optimal performance.
Proofread and edit website content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency, enhancing both readability and user engagement.
Test website functionality, including links, forms, and interactive elements, to identify issues and ensure a smooth, error-free user experience.
Assist in creating PowerPoint reports by gathering key metrics from site analytics, providing valuable insights for stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Support one-off tasks and special projects as needed, including web research, content updates, and design-related tasks.
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines, ensuring efficient task completion and contributing to the achievement of project goals.
 

Requirements:

Experience with WordPress, including content creation, editing, and basic customization.
Experience in managing website content, such as uploading and updating posts, media, and pages.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and SEO principles (e.g., keyword optimization, meta tags) is a plus.
Good written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Proactive attitude and eagerness to take on a variety of tasks and learn new skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
