Title:  Intern - Application Support (SQL)

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Application Support team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supporting enterprise applications and working with SQL databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.\
 
Key Responsibilities

•    Application Support:
o    Assist in the day-to-day support and maintenance of enterprise applications.
o    Respond to and resolve user issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
o    Monitor application performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

•    SQL Database Management:
o    Write, test, and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
o    Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups and data clean-up.
o    Assist in optimizing SQL queries and database performance.

•    Issue Tracking and Documentation:
o    Log and track support requests using the company’s ticketing system.
o    Document support processes, common issues, and their resolutions.
o    Create and maintain user guides and technical documentation.

•    Collaboration and Communication:
o    Work closely with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
o    Communicate effectively with end-users to understand and resolve their application issues.
o    Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects.
 
Qualifications
•    Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    Basic understanding of SQL and experience with SQL databases.
•    Familiarity with enterprise applications and IT support processes is a plus.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
