Job Summary
A Sales Executive in the electrical appliances industry plays a crucial role in driving revenue and promoting the products of their company. The job involves a combination of customer relationship management, product knowledge, and sales strategy.
General Responsibilities
1. Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of the electrical appliances offered by the company.
- Stay updated on product features, specifications, and benefits.
2. Sales Planning:
- Identify potential markets and customer segments for electrical appliances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Identify and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Collaborate with marketing to leverage lead generation activities.
3. After-Sales Support:
- Provide support to customers after the sale, addressing any issues or concerns.
- Facilitate warranty claims and service requests.
4. Training and Product Knowledge Transfer:
- Train other sales team members on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Conduct training sessions for retailers and distributors.
5. Meeting Sales and collection Targets:

- Work and retailers and Marketing team, organize trade fairs and events to promote company products or stock clearance.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in sales for Consumer Appliances.
- Proven experience on Electrical Appliances dealer’s network is an advantage.
- Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills. Fast learner and passionate about sales.
- Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken. Able to converse in Chinese will be an added advantage as will need to liaise with Chinese speaking customers.
Education
SPM, Diploma or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline
