Title: Executive Distribution Center Operations

Job Summary
To oversee and coordinate distribution centre operations at KKDC, ensuring accurate inventory control, compliance with healthcare distribution requirements, and efficient execution of inbound, outbound, and stock management activities. The role provides first-level supervision, operational decision-making, and accountability for high-value healthcare inventory, supporting productivity, risk management, and operational continuity.
General Responsibilities
1. Operational Supervision & Coordination
- Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of DC operations, including inbound, outbound, put-away, picking, and cycle count activities.
- Allocate and prioritise daily workloads for storekeepers / general workers to meet service level and operational targets.
- Act as the first-level operational PIC, resolving routine operational issues before escalation to Manager level.
2. Decision-Making Authority
- Exercise independent decision-making on day-to-day inventory handling matters, including:
- Prioritisation of order fulfilment during peak volumes or constraints
- Segregation and disposition of damaged, expired, or non-conforming stock in accordance with SOPs
- Recommendation and execution of inventory adjustments within approved thresholds
- Coordinate cross-functionally with DC Operations, Cold Room PICs, Facility SCM, Security/HSE, QA, and Business Units to ensure timely resolution of issues.
3. Inventory Control & Asset Accountability
- Maintain overall accountability for inventory accuracy and integrity, including high-value healthcare products stored at KKDC.
- Monitor and control inventory discrepancies, damages, and losses, with responsibility to minimise write-offs and rework.
- Support audit readiness by ensuring proper documentation, traceability, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Provide visibility and reporting on inventory performance, variances, and improvement actions.
4. Compliance, Quality & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to GDP, QA, and internal SOP requirements, particularly in a healthcare distribution environment.
- Actively participate in Deviation Reports, CAPA management, and root cause analysis related to store and inventory operations.
- Identify operational risks and implement preventive or corrective actions to safeguard product quality and compliance.
5. Process Improvement & Systems Support
- Support process modernisation initiatives, including TMS implementation and workflow improvements from Q2 onwards.
- Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to implement standardised processes that improve productivity and control.

Education
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse, inventory, or distribution operations (healthcare preferred)
- Strong understanding of inventory controls, compliance, and audit requirements
- Proven ability to supervise operations and make sound operational decisions
- Analytical mindset with strong coordination and communication skills
