Title:  Senior Manager Distribution Center Operations

Job Summary:

Manage and monitor distribution center/warehouse operations and warehouses to ensure overall efficient and effective operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Manage and lead the development and enhancement of distribution center strategies, policies and processes to optimize warehouse capacity, enhance productivity and minimize costs.
• Manage the distribution center operations to ensure fulfillment of orders and distributions are completed in timely manner.
• Manage manpower resources and utilization, and plan critical resources in advance to ensure efficient distribution center operations.
• Manage equipment, infrastructure and facilities requirements to ensure availability and reliability.
• Manage and initiate appropriate improvement programs to enhance distribution center operations as well as customer satisfaction levels.
• Manage distribution center operations to ensure distribution center is in compliance with good documentation practice (GDP), good manufacturing practice (GMP), quality standards and local regulations Institute and sustain quality control measures/procedures to ensure accuracy of stocks/inventory and prevent damage to goods whether in storage or transit.
• Ensure the quality of the product and service within the warehouse is maintained at the highest possible standards for the customer.
• Manage customer services and relationships through providing regular feedback and periodic operations review.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. , SCM, CM, Sales, Business Development, etc.) to ensure smooth operations across the board.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management or related field
• Minimum five to eight years’ experience in a similar role 
• Minimum four to six years’ experience in a managerial capacity
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of distribution center, distribution and transportation 
• Proven hands-on experience in warehousing, inventory management, pick and pack functions 
• Demonstrate strong appreciation of customer service requirements and commitment 
• Proven experience and know-how in cost efficiency/reduction and productivity improvement initiatives 
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Applicants must be willing to work in Sg Jati, Klang.
