Job Summary
- Manage the setup and maintenance of all computing devices (computers, mobile devices, tablets, printers) including networking/telephony systems at all locations ensuring optimal performance of IT systems.
- Ensure a smooth operation of the End User Computing environment, focusing primarily on digital workplace, and secondarily on other infrastructure-related support on Network and servers/systems.
- Provide 1st level end user support and troubleshooting
General Responsibilities
- Install and configure desktops, laptops, tablets (Android/iPad), printers, desk phones etc and relevant client and local applications.
- Install hardware and other peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, memory, and disk drives for users.
- Load and update specified software packages such as operating systems, word processing, spreadsheet, office productivity or other programs into designated computers.
- Provide software support to end users for issues related to windows operating system, browser, or other settings for running office productivity tools and global and local applications.
- Resolve incidents, problems, and fulfilment of requests to ensure service level agreements, targets and standards are maintained and adhered to meet customer satisfaction
- Support for SAP (SAP GUI and Printers), Fileserver, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, FTP/SFTP for file transfers/EDI, with escalation to internal teams or relevant vendors where required.
- Provision of user in AD, including adding and maintaining users in appropriate systems.
- Responsible for the IT-onboarding for new joiners, with the prompt provision of computer and M365 email account
- Responsible to ensure end user computing device security is up to date and managed
- Recommend or perform minor remedial action to correct problems
- Prepare and perform desktop refresh deployments and implementation in accordance with IT standards/strategies/road maps
- Responsible for maintaining an up-to-date inventory list of all IT equipment at various locations
- Adhere to digital workplace best practices, procedures, guidelines and compliance with audits and industry standards (CSV, ICS, etc.)
- Review and recommend improvement to existing processes, facilities and IT infrastructure.
- Work collaboratively with group IT and business departments
Functional Skills & Knowledge
- Strong end user computing skills (desktop hardware & operating systems, office productivity software, desktop security system management & policies)
- Knowledge in performing basic network troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune MDM
- Knowledge of ASRS will be advantageous
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communications skills and fluent in English
- Good understanding of IT service management processes
- Experienced in supporting VIP users
- Experienced in implementing technological improvements for increase productivity
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent
Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in managing Windows 10/11 environment and supporting basic network infrastructure and servers
- Demonstrate knowledge of end user computing management platforms, tools, frameworks, standards, policies, and trends
- Demonstrate experience in deploying and supporting end user computing environments, preferably in multinational companies and across regions
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (M365 suite), Microsoft Desktop and Active Directory technologies, Ivanti, Anti-virus, ZScaler and MFA
- ITIL and Microsoft certification will be advantageous
- Demonstrate ability to use remote administration tools
- IOS and Android Mobile Device Management
