Title:  Senior Manager Distribution Center Operations

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Distribution Center (DC) Operations leads the development and implementation of country-wide DC strategies and plans to optimize warehouse capacity, enhance productivity, and minimize costs within DKSH's Supply Chain Management function. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality warehouse operations across Singapore.

What You Will Deliver

• Develop and enhance distribution center strategies, policies, and processes to optimize warehouse capacity, enhance productivity, and minimize costs
• Manage distribution center operations to achieve organizational goals of on-time, in-full, and good-condition delivery of customer orders
• Plan and manage the allocation of manpower resources based on business needs to ensure efficient distribution center operations
• Monitor the availability and reliability of infrastructure and equipment to minimize downtime, and resolve problems and breakdowns promptly
• Monitor and identify operational cost drivers, establish business controls, and provide solutions to reduce costs and increase revenue
• Monitor distribution center operations to ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), quality standards, and local regulations
• Manage quality control measures and procedures to ensure accuracy of stock and inventory, and prevent damage to goods in storage or transit
• Manage root cause analysis and establish corrective actions on stock holding, product quality, and trade fulfillment
• Build effective business relationships with suppliers, customers, government agencies, and service providers
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales and Business Development teams to develop existing and new business and maximize warehouse utilization
• Manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient use of resources
• Drive team learning and development in the area of Supply Chain Management to achieve team and function goals
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or a related field
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial capacity
• In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain management
• Knowledge of Warehouse and Transportation Management Systems
• Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices and standards
• Appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities, especially in international and cross-cultural interactions
• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
