Title:  Senior Executive Supply Chain Development

Working location: Jalan Buroh 

2-way company transport is provided at multiple MRT stations. 

Responsibilities

• Execute industrial engineering tools, methodologies and standards for continuous improvement of Supply Chain functions
• Conduct supply chain design studies and prepare business case for distribution center upgrading/improvement
• Evaluate warehouse layout, sizing, materials storage and handling systems based on quantitative methodologies
• Evaluate data to identify performance deficiencies, determine root causes and suggest corrective actions
• Apply standardized 5S, LEAN and good distribution practices and concepts in proposing appropriate corrective and preventive actions to optimize supply chain performance
• Provide constructive recommendations to enhance overall supply chain management functions
• Provide technical advice on logistics and warehousing analysis and improvement
• Coordinate with other departments on industrial performance measurements and updates on existing continuous improvement projects
• Project manage Supply Chain related implementations
• Execute local transport strategies, plans and processes to ensure delivery on time with minimum cost, and in alignment with Group's policy
• Establish and maintain effective communication with transporter and other vendors/suppliers

Requirements

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of distribution center and local transport operations
• Demonstrate working understanding of industrial engineering fundamentals and logistics solution design concepts
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices
• Demonstrate ability to coordinate projects across multiple functions
• Experience with productivity and cost optimization project management
• Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma principles and standards preferred
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project)
• Fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken.
• Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or other related fields
• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role
• Minimum three years’ experience in a team-lead role
