Title:  Senior Manager Project Engineering

Job Summary

Manage the development of engineering projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project

General Responsibilities

• Manage project budget and costs according to project allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
• Manage engineering projects by developing detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
• Provide technical guidance to support project design, development, testing and implementation phases
• Develop and review technical instructions for system set-up and installation activities
• Oversee product construction and testing in order to ensure completion of projects efficiently and effectively 
• Identify and develop new opportunities with existing contracts
• Assess and emphasize risks related to engineering projects and develop mitigation plans
• Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedules 
• Manage and facilitate communication across the engineering functions to ensure that the project objectives and needs are met
• Serve as technical consultant and address project queries and concerns from management and employees
• Maintain contact with previous clients to identify new projects

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrate technical knowledge in scientific and medical instruments 
• Demonstrate understanding of corporate risk and customs compliance 
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken

Education

Degree in Engineering (Electronic/Electrical)
