Title:  Manager Application Engineer for Thermal

Job Summary

Provide pre- and post-sales support to customers and prospects, including applications, demonstrations and sales visits related to technology/specialty industry equipment

Job pre-requisitions

Mechanical/Thermal Engineering knowledge is a must and minimum 2-year of experiences in Data Center is preferable

General Responsibilities

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Design and develop new equipment and systems or redesign of existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers
• Communicate to product principal technical team/product manager for any customizations in preparing the proposal (product selections)
• Research and analyze customer needs and suggest product features based on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations 
• Assist sales team in configuring the correct solutions for the customers 
• Study new products/technologies aligned with existing product lines to recommend enhancements or modifications
• Assist sales team on product demonstrations/technical presentations to customers or at conferences to promote products and services
• Provide pre-sales technical support through presentations and customer visits
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing users 
• Provide training to customers in post-sales and method development
• Communicate with back office team in preparing the materials for sales order to clients
• Report to General Manager for weekly basis in progress update of project being handled by team
• Prepare and Training to internal team and external team of all client's product and its product update
• Responsible for any factory test event by online or offline to the respective country of each original client's factory

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrate technical knowledge in Mechanical / Thermal Engineering
• Demonstrate strong industry/market knowledge in Data Center
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken

Education

Degree in Engineering or Applied Science
