Job Summary
Manage Life Sciences account to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives
General Responsibilities
- To manage all accounts within Indonesia and ensure that Life Sciences Business Product is represented in all relevant purchase opportunities.
- To achieve annual sales targets for the territory.
- To accurately and consistently maintain records (in a timely fashion) for assigned opportunities, including forecast information.
- To develop and maintain a good level of product knowledge for the Life Sciences range product and for competitive technologies.
- To organize demonstrations, attend seminars and exhibitions. To always promote the professional image of Life Sciences Business Product
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Educational background in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical.
- Minimum 2years experience in sales engineer for laboratory instrumentation and consumable (reagent) products.
- Willingness to be travelling
- Knowledge and understanding of Genomics, Cell cultures, and Protein Analysis products and markets.
- Agility in solving customer's problems to grow the business.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical information, deliver product presentations, and negotiate with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge in CRM system such as Salesforce is an advantage.
Education
Minimum education in degree level in the field of science (Biology, biotechnology, or biomedical)
